About Our Race
The Chick-fil-A 5K and "Running of the Calves" Kids Fun Run is BACK - bigger and better than ever! As one of our hometown's premier family-friendly race events, we are excited to announce that our 5K will kick-off the festivities celebrating Victoria's Bicentennial. It is an honor to be a part of this historic occasion. The racecourse will move to the streets of beautiful Downtown Victoria with the start and finish line at the newly renovated DeLeon Plaza.
We are thankful for the support of our faithful and generous sponsors and of course every race participant. With your help, we've raised more than $350,000 directly benefitting the youth of our community. However, the impact made through Young Life's influence is impossible to place a price tag on. Hundreds of high school students are impacted every year, experiencing positive and sometimes dramatic life change!
From the bottom of my heart, and on behalf of my Chick-fil-A Victoria family, I want to thank you for taking part in something for the greater good, something to help make our community the best that it can be.

100% of the proceeds raised through our sponsors and participants in the Chick-fil-A 5K and the "Running of the Calves" Kids Fun Run go towards helping send local Victoria high school students to camp. For many students, a Young Life camp is their first opportunity to experience an outdoor, team building event of this nature and it is a life changing event.
